TAYLOR SWIFT, You’re amazing.

Taylor Swift is an absolute inspiration to me, She is so down-to-earth, she has beautiful fashion sense and her music is so elegantly written.

I was lucky enough to be at one of Taylor’s concerts where I am sure she made eye contact with every person within eye distance. she got amongst the crowd and really showed that she genuinely cared.

The most amazing thing about music is that it has a way of understanding your utter most fears and your horrible mistakes.

It also has a way of making you feel as though you aren’t alone. Someone else has felt the same way you are feeling and somehow they managed to write it perfectly.

One of the most beautiful lyrics I have ever listened to “you are the best thing, that’s ever been mine’ I cannot wait til I find someone that this lyric relates to.

There is no purpose to this blog other than wanting to give back to her and show her how inspired we all are because of her,

I couldn’t ask for a better role model.

The perfect wedding earrings.

When picking the perfect wedding earrings there are a number of factors to consider, Firstly the style you are trying to achieve. There is no point wearing hoop earrings.. well ever.Image

Secondly the weight – this is often something overlooked by a bride, Remember ladies this is a long day and ditching your earrings mid wedding is almost as bad as ditching those 1inch too high heels.

But don’t get me wrong, I love these earrings. I’m just saying, think about it.

Thirdly the time of day – I have never liked a huge, blinging earring in the morning, or afternoon for that matter. those type of earrings should be saved for the night time. I do love the light simple earrings.

STAY AWAY FROM BRIGHTLY COLOURED EARRINGS. I think this should be in the bride rule book.

White gold, White, Cream, Silver or limited pastels only should be used.

Personally my favourite look on a bride is the traditional pearl earrings.

These can go with basically any dress and has a way of reflecting class on your hair style.

Just so you know… You are Lovely.

The one that got away.

A tragic loss. Fate interfering. Bad timing.

Whatever excuses I may have used at the time are pointless because in the end it doesnt make me any closer to being with him. It doesn’t make my actions any less stupid.

The real truth of the matter is I took him for granted and I paid the ultimate price.

We will never make another memory.

I will ALWAYS love him and he will never forgive me and I dont blame him.

When describing him I would not be able to look past the word perfection. He was a fun loving spirited man who took every oportunity given to him and made the most of it.

He made me a better person, I challenged myself, I did things that scared me. With him by my side nothing was scary, everything was beautiful but for some reason I thought I needed more.

I hope one day he realises, I made a mistake. I left. But he meant the world to me and he still does.

‘Be mindful of what you toss away, be careful of what you push away & think hard before you walk away’

“These days, I haven’t been sleeping,

Staying up, playing back myself leaving,

When your birthday passed, and I didn’t call
Then I think about summer, all the beautiful times I watched you laughing from the passenger side

And realized I loved you in the fall
And then the cold came, the dark days When fear crept into my mind You gave me all your love, and all I gave you was goodbye

So this is me swallowing my pride Standing in front of you, saying I’m sorry for that night And I go back to December all the time

And you said It’s too late to apologise”

– Back to December by Taylor Swift

The best book I have ever read.

If you love books and feel like an interesting read this true story is one of the most amazing stories I have ever read.

The story follows a boy and an elephant who were born together, eat, sleep and drink together. These two are inseparable until someone buys the circusthey live in. This is a heartbreakingly beautiful storey.

“It must be one of those special happenings that has a mystical meaning, Curpo, to have my son born on the same day, let alone the same hour, as the baby elephant.”

Fifties make up

Fifties make up is very classy and so in at the moment. If you are looking for a make up mix up but aren’t into the big vibrant colours try a simple fifties look.

Here are some tips:

Use your normal foundation or a basic powder if you have tanned/dark skin.

Use a white or very light pink eyeshadow to give a really clean, fresh look. With liquid eyeliner do only the top of the eye sweeping it out to extend the look of the lashes. Using a light pink, contour your cheek bones.

The way you finish the look is up to you. I like to finish with a nice red colour however nude or pink look just as cute!

Fellas, what do you think of this look?

Let Dr. Seuss change the way you think

Be who you are and say what you mean because those who mind dont matter and those who matter dont mind.

You’re on your own and you know what you know and YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go.

Today you are you that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is YOUER than you.

Family, Nothing can beat it.

I’m lucky to have the family I have.

Beautiful. Complicated. Inspiring.

My family are the most important people to me, every day they inspire me.

The best way I can describe my dad would be like Liam Neeson in ‘taken’. He is clever, he is persistent and he is strong. I never doubt anything when my father is next to me. No one could make me feel as safe as what he can.

My mother on the other hand is completely the opposite.

She is nurturing, strong-willed and wears her heart on her sleeve. She is absolutely amazing and the strength she has shown in her weakest moments only make me more proud of her. I would describe my mother as Catherine Diaz in ‘My sisters keeper’

My sister has always supported me. She has always been my best friend in the entire world. I would describe her as Reese Witherspoon in ‘legally blonde’. She is probably one of the kindest people I know but she is a typical Barbie. Shes blonde, she loves pink and anything that sparkles.

My other sister has passed away and I don’t think I could pick a character out of a movie that she would be like. She was brave during her fight with cancer however just wasnt strong enough. Never once did she think she was dying. Never once did she give up.

remember to be thankful for the people you have around you. They are precious and vulnerable and you never know when it will be the last time you see them.

Fashion Do’s.

I absolutely love the new range of sun dresses which have recently been re-introduced to the fashion world.

I first fell in love with this girly, petite look whilst watching ‘The Hills’ a reality TV show which follows Lauren Conrad and her friends around Los Angeles. Lauren has truly had a huge impact on my wardrobe and I find myself googling images of her so I can mimic some of her effortless beauty.

Whilst on my search for the perfect ‘Lauren’ look I have stumbled upon a few amazing websites.

Obviously the first being Laurens own fashion label, Paper crown: http://www.paper-crown.com/store-locator.html

& my favourite ASOS: http://www.asos.com/au/Women/?xr=1&mk=VOID&r=3

So go out and have some flirty fun with these beautiful styles.
